Hand-welded by Milwaukee artist Jason Blenkinsop, this metal sculpture is crafted entirely from reclaimed metal, including an old steel sled, motorcycle chain, railroad tie downs, railroad spikes, springs, soup ladles, shopping cart parts, bicycle parts, and a refrigerator compressor. Measuring about 27 inches tall, 36 inches wide, and 26 inches deep and weighing roughly 22 pounds, it carries the heft of an apex scavenger. The elongated neck and hooked beak feel sharp and predatory, while the layered wing structure shows intricate mechanical texture.
